Quick Clinical Entries - Dx/Tx Plan

New patient exams are a breeze with quick clinical entries!

Read on to see how to add options for these fields!

Existing Conditions:

  1. Go to Tops Ortho > Practice Setup > Tx Plan.
  2. Click on the Existing Conditions tab.
  3. Use the plus and minus icons to add or remove Categories from the list on the left.
  4. For each Category, use the plus icon on the right side to add as many options as you wish. For each clinical observation, you can enter a corresponding Lay Observation to use in letters to the patient.

Comments:

  1. Go to Tops Ortho > Practice Setup > Tx Plan.
  2. Click on the Comments tab.
  3. Use the plus and minus icons to add or remove Comments from the list.
  4. Use the plus icon to add as many Comment items as you wish. For each Comment, you can enter a corresponding Lay Item to use in letters to the patient.

General Tx Objectives:

  1. Go to Tops Ortho > Practice Setup > Tx Plan.
  2. Click on the General Tx Objectives tab.
  3. Use the plus and minus icons to add or remove Tx Objectives from the list.
  4. Use the plus icon to add as many Tx Objectives as you wish. For each item, you can enter a corresponding Lay Item to use in letters to the patient. Sometimes this is not necessary.

Tx Sequence:

  1. Go to Tops Ortho > Practice Setup > Tx Plan.
  2. Click on the Tx Sequence tab.
  3. Use the plus and minus icons to add or remove items in the Group field. This is where you will enter treatment types, such as "Surgical Class III."
  4. Click your first Group/Treatment Type and select treatment steps from the list below. You will see your chosen steps display in the window to the right.
  5. Add or remove items from the treatment steps below.
  6. Once you have entered all your desired sequences, all you will have to do is click on the Group in the patient chart and the entire treatment sequence will populate!
