Filter Review Requests by Procedure

Do you only wish to send Review Requests to patients who just had their braces removed? Or only to new patients? It's easy to do with TopsDPX!

Create Patient Groups:

  1. Go to Comm > Tops Reminders.
  2. In the Patient Communicator tab, select Patient Groups.

  1. Click the plus sign on the upper right corner.

  1. Give your group a name, such as Review Requests.
  2. Select the Practitioners to be assigned to the group. Typically, you will select all practitioners.
  3. Under Treatments, select the Appointment Types that should belong to the group - check all that apply!
  4. Disregard the Operatories section.
  5. Patient Properties allows you to select demographics for your Patient Group if desired. If you do not wish to narrow down the demographics, leave them set to Any.
  6. When you are satisfied with your selections, click the checkmark to save the Patient Group. You can remove or delete Patient Groups at any time.

Filter your Review Request Settings:

  1. Go to Comm > Tops Reminders > Review > Templates.
  2. Click the gear wheel icon next to Review Request.
  3. Enter a Friendly Name if you wish. If you prefer, you can keep the default Review Request name.
  4. Place checkmarks next to your preferred contact methods - Text, Email, or both.
  5. Open up each preferred contact method and view the default template. Edit and customize to your liking. Note: Do not remove the blue Request Link variable; this is the link to your Google or Facebook review page.
  6. Click Save when you are done.

  1. Under Filters, click Add Filter.
  2. Leave the Rule field as Only Send.
  3. Select your Patient Group from the dropdown menu.

  1. Under Weekday Settings, remove the checkmarks from the days of the week when you do not wish for patients to receive Review Requests.
  2. Click Save.
  3. You're done! Now your Review Requests will only go out to the patients who have completed the procedures you assigned to your Patient Group.
