Add a New Staff Member to Rhinogram

When a new staff member joins your practice, they may need to access Messaging. Here's how to set them up!

Add your new staff member to Rhinogram first. These steps need to be completed by the staff member with Admin permissions in Rhinogram.

  1. Go to Comm > Messaging and log in.
  2. Click the gear wheel icon.
  3. Select Members.
  4. Click the + icon.
  5. Enter the new member's email and necessary contact information.
  6. Assign the new member the appropriate channels, roles and permissions in Rhinogram.
  7. Click Add & Invite Member. This is important because it sends an email to the staff member and allows them to create a password.

  1. The new staff member will create a password unique to Rhinogram. We do not recommend that they use their Tops password.


Next, add the staff member to Practice Setup.

  1. Go to Tops Ortho > Practice Setup > Single Sign-On.
  2. Click on Messaging in the menu to the left.
  3. Click the + icon.
  4. Select your new staff member from the dropdown menu. Press Tab.
  5. Place a checkmark next to each location for which the staff member will need Rhinogram access.
  6. For Service Username, have the staff member enter the email address they used to register for Rhinogram.
  7. For Service Password, have the staff member enter the password they created for Rhinogram.
  8. Click Add Password.
  9. That's it! Now your new staff member will be able to access Rhinogram in Tops by entering only their Tops password! They can do this by going to Comm > Messaging or Off-the-Charts > Messaging from a patient chart.
