Start Screen Sharing

When you call Tops Ortho Support with questions, it's helpful to share your screen with the team. Go to Apple Menu > About This Mac to view the macOS of your workstation, then follow the steps below.

If your workstation is already running the Team Viewer application, please close out it before following these steps.

For workstations on macOS 13 or newer:

  1. Go to Help > Start Screen Sharing...
  2. A window will display that says Screen Sharing Is Not Running; click Start Screen Sharing.
  3. A window titled Review System Access will display. For Tops Support to best assist you, you will need to allow the Screen Recording and Accessibility functions.
  4. If these functions show as Unknown or Denied, click Request Access...

  1. In the next window, select Open System Settings.
  2. You will be directed to the Screen Recording section of the Privacy and Security menu. Find Tops Ortho in the list.
  3. Click the toggle next to Tops Ortho to turn it on.

  6. Repeat the steps above to grant Accessibility.
