Can't Connect to Your Tops Server?
Do you see the message "Unable to connect to the Tops Server" when you try to connect to Tops Ortho? Use the tips below to troubleshoot.
On-site Server:
- If you are in the server location office, make sure that the Server field displays Tops Server or Bonjour. That means that your workstation can find the server.
- If you are in a satellite location or at home, make sure that the Server field displays the correct remote IP address. If you are not sure what your remote IP is, contact Tops Support at 770.627.2527.
- Make sure your workstation is connected via either ethernet or a secure, private Wifi network.
- If you are connected to a Guest or public network, disconnect and connect to the private network.
- If you are connected to both ethernet and WiFi, please turn off the WiFi. Being connected to both ethernet and WiFi is not ideal and can prevent connection to Tops Ortho.
