How Alerts Work
Tops Ortho offers the ability to add Medical, Financial, and Scheduling Alerts. Learn how to add alerts to patient charts and when and where the alerts appear in Tops Ortho.
How Do I Add Alerts?
- Open the patient's chart; go to View > Patient Info or press Command I.
- Navigate to the lower right corner of the chart.
- Place your cursor under each Alert heading and type how you want the alert to appear.
- Place a checkmark in the box next to the Alert heading; doing so will activate the alert and cause it to pop up within Tops Ortho. Read the next section to learn more about when each alert will show.
- Tab out of each field when you are through.
