Export a Report

Many reports provide the option to export the information to a spreadsheet. Instructions to export are listed below.


  1. Open a report. Note: Instructions for exporting are similar, regardless of the report type. We are using Matrix > Patients for our example.
  2. Sort and arrange the columns to your liking.
  3. Click the export icon on the top right of the report and select Export to spreadsheet. Note: You must have your username set up with permission for this function and you are required to enter your password.

  1. Name the report file and save to your desktop. Note: The file name includes .txt automatically.
  2. Right-click on the file on your desktop and select Open With > Microsoft Excel or Numbers.
  3. Your report will open as a spreadsheet.
