Hiding Tops and Other Applications
How can I hide Tops so that my patients cannot see the application chairside?
If you want to quickly place Tops out of view when a patient approaches your workstation, we suggestion configuring Keyboard and Mouse Shortcuts.
To be able to click the F1 key and show your desktop, which puts Tops out of view, follow the steps below.
Go to Settings>Desktop & Dock
Click the Shortcuts button and assign F1 to Show Desktop


To quickly engage your screen saver, lock your screen or show your desktop with mouse directionals, follow the steps below to configure your Hot Corners.
Go to Settings>Desktop & Dock
Click the Hot Corners button
Assign the corners of your screen that will engage your desired action when the mouse cursor is thrown in the corresponding corner of the screen.

When working within Tops, how can I hide other open applications from my view?
You can hide the current display of other programs open from your desktop by accessing Tops Ortho > Hide Others. The keyboard shortcut is Option-Command-H.

How can I work within other applications without closing Tops, but also keep Tops out of view?
You can hide the current display of Tops Ortho from your desktop while working in other applications simply by accessing Tops Ortho > Hide Tops Ortho. The keyboard shortcut is Command H.
- Using Command-Tab to select Tops Ortho again will display all of your open Tops Windows or go to the menu of your frontmost application and select Show All.
How can I easily close charts and windows that are open from Tops.
Command-W will close individual windows without having to click the red skittle to close each individual one. Command-M will minimize the chart or window if you need to minimize it versus close it.
