Create Your Away Response

  1. Go to Comm > Tops Reminders.
  2. Click on the Messages tab.
  3. Click Away Response.
  4. Select Off, Auto, or Always-On:
    1. Off means that your Away Response will never send, regardless of your office hours.
    2. Auto means that your Away Response will send when patients text outside of your office hours.
    3. Always-On means that your Away Response will send every time a patient texts the office. This is a useful setting for times the office is closed for vacations, such as for a winter break.

  1. Click to place your cursor in the Away Response text box. Compose your Away Message.
  2. When you are finished, click Submit.
  3. Note: You may see a warning that your hours are not set; as long as you see them in your Location Settings > Office Hours, you can disregard this message.
