Time Sensitive Update for Practices Using TopsPay

Stax is updating its ACH Company ID as part of ongoing updates to its payment processing experience.

If your practice uses TopsPay, you must add the new Stax ACH Company ID to your bank’s positive-pay allow-list or ACH filter by October 17, 2026.

New ACH Company ID: 514794604

Important: This change must be made with your bank. There is nothing you need to update within Tops Ortho or the Stax portal.

Keep the Existing Company ID Active

When adding the new ACH Company ID, do not remove or replace the existing Stax Company ID.
Both the existing Stax Company ID and the new Company ID, 514794604, should remain active with your bank.
Failure to add the new Company ID may result in payment blocks or rejected payouts.

How to Add the New ACH Company ID

The exact process varies by bank. Depending on your financial institution, you may be able to make the change through your business banking or treasury-management portal, or you may need to contact your bank directly.

If your bank allows you to manage ACH filters online, the general process is:

Sign in to your business banking or treasury-management portal.
Locate Positive Pay, ACH Filters, ACH Debit Block, Payment Controls, or a similarly named setting.
Add 514794604 as an authorized ACH Company ID or originator.
Keep the existing Stax Company ID active.
Select the appropriate transaction type, typically ACH credits for payouts.
Save your changes.

If you are unsure how to update your ACH Company IDs, contact your bank for assistance.

What Should I Tell My Bank?

You can provide your bank with the following instructions:

“Please add ACH Company ID 514794604 to the authorized ACH filter for my account, while keeping my existing Stax Company ID active.”

What Else Is Changing?

Nothing else is changing as a result of the new ACH Company ID.

• Payout timing and dates will remain the same.

• Bank statement descriptions will remain unchanged.

• Funds will continue to be deposited into the same bank accounts.
