📣  Apple's Latest MacOS Upgrade: Here's what you need to know.

As you may have heard, Apple’s new operating system for Macs - macOS Golden Gate (27.0) - was released.  You might be tempted to update, but you know the drill - just WAIT! If you plan to update anyway - because you’re an early adopter and that’s the way you roll - let us know if you find something that doesn’t work right in any Tops product.  For more information on macOS updates and upgrades for Tops Ortho and services, visit Approved macOS Versions for Tops.

📣  Latest Release: Tops v9.12.8

Tops v9.12.8 has been released! Updates are automatically rolled out to eligible practices—there’s no need to contact Team Tops to schedule your update.

If your server is eligible, you'll be prompted to Update upon logging in. Follow the prompts to complete the installation. For details about what’s included, go to Help > Show Release Notes in Tops or visit our Release Notes & Alerts page.

As Stax continues to work toward providing an enhanced processing experience, a new ACH Company ID is being introduced: 514794604

To prevent payment blocks or rejected payouts, please add this ID to your bank’s positive-pay allow-list or ACH filter by October 17th, 2026

Please keep both our existing Company ID and the new ID active.

‍Nothing else is changing:

• Payout timing and dates will remain the same.
• Bank statement descriptions will remain unchanged.
• Funds will continue to be deposited into the same bank accounts.

🔨 Improvements | October 16, 2026

Several updates have been made to the TopsDPX interface, including new options for managing office hours and automated messaging.

• Office Hours: Practices can now add scheduled lunch breaks to their office hours.
• Office Closures: New settings allow practices to configure custom office closures and federal holidays, including options to defer or skip automated messages during closures.
• Template Navigation: To access Schedule, Patient Recall, Messages, and Reviews templates, select Templates from the Settings menu, then choose the desired template category from the left-side navigation menu.
• Template Languages: Automated message templates accessed through the Settings menu can now be translated into up to 14 languages, helping practices communicate with patients in their preferred language.
• Message Translation: The message composition window has an updated interface for translating messages.

We’re working with the TopsDPX team to confirm how recent changes impact existing features and automated messaging, as well as clarify whether certain behaviors are intentional.
