Send Templated Messages to Patient Groups
Want to send a targeted message to a Patient Group? Here's how:
- Go to Comm > Tops Reminders.
- If you have already created Patient Groups, proceed to the next step. If you have not created Patient Groups, read the related article below, Create Patient Groups.
- There are several default templates already available; to view these, click Templates in the Patient Communicator tab.
- Each template can be edited or deleted. You can add or remove blue variables according to your preference. When you have finished editing a template, click Save.
- To create your template, click on + Create New Template.
- Give your template a unique name and enter your message. Remember that you can add variables to personalize the message. Click Save when you are done.
- To send your templated message, click BROADCAST on the top right corner of the Patient Communicator tab.
- Click on Select from Schedule.
- Enter your desired time frame and click Next.
- In the All Patients dropdown, select the Patient Group you wish to target. Click Next.
- In the next window, select the template you wish to use. Click Next.
- The next window provides a preview of your broadcast message AND gives you a chance to un-check any contacts whom you do not wish to receive the message. When you are done, click Send.
- You will see a confirmation that the broadcast sent. That's it!
